Pump pump pump.
That's what was happening. I feel enormous pressure on both my ears, its giving me the feeling of dizziness, drowsiness and a bit off balance. It makes me feel lonely, because i think that's how i feel, while everybody else is just smiling walking in and out of cars and shops, crying, talking, whatever they do they're not feeling this subtle dizziness constantly.
That was all whats going through my head when i was sitting in the cafe "Galileo" on the street view table waiting for her. Waiter comes by, greets me. I can tell he's greeting me by his body inclination, eye contact, and smile. All i hear is pump pump pump. I great him back, he doesn't hear me, i adjust volume to louder.
-"good morning to you too"
--“Can i bring you anything sir?". Said the waiter with raised eye brows.
-"An espresso, please..", and i went on improvising:
"make that a double, and could you please bring me some cold full cream milk?" I started liking the echo of my own voice within the pump pump pump. I carried on "i would like to have the espresso in a large white cup please" He wrote all that down and answered,
"Anything else sir?"
-”That would be all thank you.”
That was one of my most favorite tricks ever. I have no taste for coffee and i hate milk specially full cream milk, and I swear to god if the waiter came back with Italian soda with coconut flavor i would drink it up and pay for the espresso without uttering a word. But the waiter doesn't know that. Because i tricked him into thinking I'm a sophisticated coffee drinker or an anal customer with issues. I do that all the time. when I'm shopping for clothes i pick up the clothes i don't like at all, the ones i have problems with, specially in concept. I pick clothing that i would never wear, and i wear them all the time. I trick people to think I'm a person that I'm not by wearing stuff i don't like.
its fun.
Pump pump pump.
She knows the trick, she’s beyond that....i really like her.
Here she is around the corner. i pick up my ugly messenger bag and my hideous scarf and leave.
